I'm afraid
you have me all misconstrued
because you're the only person I know,
who challenges how much I know about myself
maybe you listen to hard
or maybe no one else is listening at all
but the only reason you know anything of substance
is not because i told you
but because you could hear
me calling
from even, so far away.
